The focus of my work and specialism is in investment planning, creating and reviewing portfolios. Due consideration is given to various factors including clients’ attitude to risk, timescales, existing holdings, requirement for income, market conditions and taxation issues. Cash and National Savings & Investments may be included in portfolios.
Regular e-mails on general investment issues are sent to existing investment portfolio clients. If you would to see some examples or receive these regularly without charge or obligation please e-mail me your contact details. You do not have to become a client.
Advice is also offered for individuals in the following areas:

- Life Assurance
- Pension Planning including Stakeholder Pensions, Personal Pensions, Annuities and Drawdown (also called Unsecured Income)
- Health Insurances, Critical Illness Insurance and Income Protection but not Long Term Care Insurance, Private Medical Insurance, Accident & Sickness plans nor other general insurances
- Offshore Investments
- Tax Planning including Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax and Taxation of Investments.
- Execution Only - where you receive no advice from me. Here I merely carry out your instructions to purchase a product of your choice. This results in considerable cost savings but execution only is only suitable for those with sufficient knowledge to take the risk of buying without advice.
Where I am unable to give advice myself I can usually recommend other good sources of information or professionals for example a mortgage broker or stockbroker or obtain advice on your behalf.
